Troubleshooting Tips Vbeinfo Command Not Found

I have a nice Asus EEE PC 1005P on which I have installed a command line system using only the Ubuntu Lucid Lynx Alternate Installation CD. Although I think this guy is a general Linux question as well as grub2. I do not (and do not want) an X Window System installed. I would like

i to change the screen resolution of my console (not in X) to 1024 x 600. But that’s not the case when it says I’m using vbeinfo in Grub:

Does this mean I have a specific driver? Do you have any ideas how to set 1024 x six hundred in grub2?
