FIX: Avast Installer GUI Was Not Initialized
Stop wasting time with computer errors.
It is worth reading these troubleshooting guidelines if you encounter an error where the avast configuration has not been initialized.

Has anyone encountered this particular error message when trying to install Avast manually, in most cases with an error message stating that “the gui.dll configuration was not initialized. It is impossible to continue the configuration. ” An error popup will appear. Despite this error message, the installation completed successfully. Does anyone know why exactly this error is causing this error and should we be wary of this error?
Our network consists of over 700 computers that I have seen several times. The room looks beautiful. I followed closely the clients showing this error and found no difference in actual consumption versus the “correctly installed” clients. I don’t know why this is happening, but for me the location error in older, slower ones Other laptops that access via WAP.

I’m new here, please understand. I asked online for avast Security today and was unable to use it. After purchasing the program, I was directed to aa page to click the check button to download the installer file. I download a file, but when I try to run it, I get the following message:
You are trying to get an old version of each avast! setup. Instead of using, you can see that the packages stored in this file, as the installer starts and loads, use some of the latest configurations available on the Internet.
When I click OK, I receive the following error message:
From here, I get a huge continuous loop, consisting mostly of other messages followed by an error message. Am
I am using Windows 7 64-bit.
I uninstalled Norton 360 this morning using the Norton Removal Tool.
Antivirus is not currently running on my computer.

I would also search your system in the Go pane below to search for Norton and Symantec on the left, enter any of the names, then click Show More Results and on the browse screen that opens, click Computer. It will search for leftovers and you can delete what is found, this search can still be performedbe in the registry, but unfortunately if you don’t know which area you usually don’t go 
Looks like I was hit hard, I also needed a similar problem after buying an item in the store, luckily I used the free version installer and was able to register it that way and get updates, that’s ok 
.
I don’t remember this when I renew my Avast subscription as the store usually has a good, fairly old version that does not require updates.
