As @phuclv mentioned in the comments, I want to point out that there is a tool that also works fine on 64-bit Windows! It’s called Micro and, fortunately, counts asVery regularly feature-rich, updated and just alive.
To install it, simply download the latest 64-bit version. Go from here as well, then unzip this tool somewhere and add its path to your PATH. dependencies No metrics required – just bin the current one and you’re done.
For micro, simply generate and modify the resulting text file.
Type micro to run the already created file.
To save: Ctrl + s
To display a list of associated keyboard shortcuts: alt + g
To exit: ctrl + q
Simply select the text (using the Shift key or even any mouse!), then copy, cut, materialize or delete the selected text using the same keyboard shortcuts as in your own system (e.g. + ctrl c a to get a copy of Windows). So

Because VSCode and Micro may attempt to support all common hotkeys, you may find that many hotkeys conflict with each other when using Micro in VSCode’s built-in cmd/powershell device. For example, to exit you micro, you might need to use ctrl + q, as this is the VSCode hotkey for opening the View shortcut.
But don’t worry! Micro also has Rod Typed “Die Commands” which allow you to control the editor with commands, on the other hand, hotkeys. So we can categorize commands, and it’s good that Micro also has VSCode, but there’s a little problem. To enable “command mode” on your micro+, you need to use ctrl e and this is also the VSCode hotkey for the “Go to file…” command. So you need to press ctrl + VSCode e or Enhance micro to fix this conflict and you’re done.
Personally, I prefer trans Give ctrl to +e from Micro. Here are the steps from part of the larger documentation to change it to ctrl+w (or other non-conflicting key combination of your choice) on a Windows machine:
